Unless you've been living under a rock or were one of the unfortunate ones to have encountered a Titan while watching the first season, you should probably know by now that season 2 of Attack on Titan is FINALLY out. I still can't get over how Wit Studio made us wait this long for the next season to this highly anticipated series and even more how it's scheduled to only have a disappointing 12 episodes. The first season had 25 episodes, which even then I complained about but WAY better than 12. As some of you might know, I love long running anime. And while there's obviously going to be more than a second season, I'm not very happy about them only squeezing out 12 new ones for now.
Attack on Titan is what brought me into watching anime. It literally changed my life. My perspective on anime was that it was no better than childish cartoons but boy was I wrong. I was at my nephews house and he told me there was this great new show I HAD to watch on Netflix. I was a little skeptical about it but it only took one episode to hook me in. By the next 24 hours I had completed watching the entire first season. No regrets. After a few years of waiting and having tried out over 100 different anime shows in the meantime, it's needless to say at this point how excited I am.
But enough about me, let's talk about season 2!
At the time of writing this, season 2 is only 2 episodes in. As most of you anime fans know, A LOT can be introduced in just a few episodes. And while I don't want to spoil anything, I'm already in love with how they started this new season. With blood, gore, action and no censorship. With the same badass characters, a couple of new ones on the way and some hideous looking Titans.
If for some reason you haven't started watching Attack on Titan at all, click here to see just what it's all about. If it looks like something you'd enjoy, and I'm willing to bet anyone would, you can stream season one for free on Crunchyroll.
For those who have watched the first season but haven't yet started on season two, you can watch the first episode (ep 26 if you're counting since last season) on Crunchyroll for free.
One big note to both current and soon to be viewers.. don't eat while watching this.. just don't. Seeing blood and all this other nasty content doesn't go along very well with a plate of food in front of you.
