Boku no Hero Academia Season 2 - Out Now!
Attack on Titan is obviously the most popular release for Spring 2017 this year. And while I do love watching those with the Wings of Freedom crest fight the Titans, I have to admit that I was just as excited about Season 2 of Boku no Hero, if not more.
Bones Studio (Animators of Boku no Hero) didn't make us wait as much as Wit Studio (Animators of Attack on Titan) so of course everything that happened is still fresh in mind. Boku no Hero came out exactly a year ago in Spring 2016, thanks Bones!
I'm a sucker for this kind of anime with Boku no Hero Academia falling under action, comedy, shounen to name a few genres. Similar to my other favorite shows like One Piece, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter and the list goes on.
I know it was getting a lot of hate before season one even premiered since it looked so similar to other anime plots we've seen in the past. I'm willing to bet most of the critiques changed their mind after finishing season one because it was GREAT and original enough. If for some rare chance they didn't change their mind, then who cares?! I'm sure a lot of you enjoyed it as much as I did and that's ALL that matters!
So far I'm two episodes in (there's only 2 at the moment..) and jesus have they gotten me excited. The first episode sent chills down my spine a few times as things got upbeat. Great soundtrack, very loveable animating, everything I could ask for.
After the huge brawl that ended last season, we start season two with another great event. I can't wait to see everything unfold and hopefully see Midoriya grow stronger. And I think I'll finish things off here but make sure you start watching season two!
