Plot/Story 8/10

If you haven't already done so, please read the synopsis above.

I have to say right off the bat that I've never been so uncomfortable watching anything else in my life. If you're an adult, then I'm sure you'll share the same feelings I had every damn episode. It's not the best thing ever to see kids get all weird with each other. It seriously took me off guard in a very entertaining way. The entire story was executed pretty beautifully besides that.

Characters 8/10

I'm never fully pleased with any anime's characters. Which turned out to be the same for this one. Masamune's little sister was quite the annoying one throughout it all but it never got too overboard. I realize this is how it was meant to be but it just doesn't amuse me. Also, I really enjoyed how everyone around Masamune (including him) grew a lot by the last episode. Character development was great and not lacking at all.

Animation/Design 10/10

The design overall of this anime was beautiful. I would expect nothing less from something produced by A-1 Pictures. The scenes were all very colorful and vivid. Definitely pleasing for the eye!

Audio/Soundtrack 4/10

I haven't watched an anime with this bad of a audio selection in a while. Every audio track sounded way too calming and didn't really help set the mood right. I would've liked something more vibrant that uplifted the scenes a little better.

Overall 7/10

As I said earlier, I genuinely liked this anime. I have never seen anything like it before so the caching me off guard aspect definitely helped. I wouldn't recommend watching this immediately over anything else you have planned. Although, if you're out of anime to watch then I would definitely recommend you give it a try. It's only worth the watch when you have no other form of entertainment and are looking for something new/fresh.

Thanks for reading!
